Hi everyone,

Just thought I would share a picture the Caroll Henderson snapped last Wednesday at our PM roost in Lake Osakis. Absolutely incredible! We estimate that there were 70,000 martins!

Very nice photo. I know it's encouraging for efforts under way in Minnesota.

Send them on down the Mississippi on their way south. My housing in St. Louis is still open..me procrastinating.

Kelly, what area of Minn. is this roost located?
Bob Buskas, Alberta, Canada (The Northern Sky's Colony) Supplimental feeding is the key during bad weather, but you must train them to feed ahead of time.

Hi Bob,

The roost is in the SW corner of Lake Osakis. Pretty much west-central MN. This is the largest yet documented here in Minnesota.
