TULSA update (fledge day)

Today is the the first round of fledges.. Young ones have been jumping all morning and this afternoon. They are well fed and very large this year. So far all have flown very well right from the start. Around 40 young are ready to go and then i have other pairs that are still in early stages with young and one pair with eggs. Fingers crossed, i will say this might be the best year yet.!!!!!!!!
Congrats, Stan! Our first round fledged while we were on vacation so don't know the number except there are quite a few of them.
One house has two compartments of eggs, the other house has the youngsters that keep bombing us when we're out in the back yard. What fun they're having! If only they knew what enjoyment they bring us.
Yesterday they came very close to the ground charging the unsuspecting squirrel at the feeder. He got out of there in a hurry.
We've had a good year also. Thank goodness. Hate to see them go as always.
