early clutch of 5 hatch !!

i was a little nervous about an early clutch of 5 eggs that were laid just before the really cool nights early this month. Nest check thursday and all 5 hatched and are looking good. There are 16 remaining nests with 63 total eggs, and still several more nests being heavily constructed. Still some fuss in the morning, over a couple of gourds, but otherwise no problems to report. A couple more weeks and i should have an idea on the colony size compared to last year. Offered 52 gourds, and looks to be maybe a slight increase from last year.
