I have a pair of Bluebirds that are nesting in a bluebird box that I have. I also notice them hanging around my Martin housing. Do I need to be worried about this?

I had a lot of activity on Monday. Yesterday with all the rain not so much. Will inclimate weather have an impact on establishing a colony?

We have a pair of Bluebirds that we got to move from the Martin house to their own about 25' away and low. So far so good but that might change with eggs and chicks. From reading here it sounds like with BBs that some are more aggressive than others. Also, a thing to remember is that the subadults, the ones that start the colony, are more disturbed by BBs than the adult Martins.

If your bluebirds are nesting in a BB box, you shouldn't have any issues from them. The pair of bluebirds in my yard hunt from my gourd rack perches, they even hunt from porches of my gourds when martins are inside incubating eggs. They get along just fine as long as the BB's and TRES have their own nesting boxes.
