Hi Everyone, I keep forgetting to record when my martins make it to central Missouri. If anyone knows, let me know.
Thanks, Hope!

You can also check last years scout report for Missouri and find an area near you.

Keep in mind they trickle in. The first few in mid March; then there's a lag and more in late March into early April. Then we enjoy them one day and worry the next over cold temps -- not really out of the woods until after mid May. ..

Good luck this year.

it looks like we are going to warm up here and that will cause the birds to head north,i really wish they would wait till mid april.
In 2007 we had 10 days of below freezing temps in april and it killed off lots of martins ,I didnt get any in 2008

They better be glad they didn't show up here yet. This morning it is snowing, and the wind is blowing straight out of the North. The temp
is 27 and the wind chill is down around 16. I don't look for any for another week or so. I certainly hope they wait because I will be having surgery next week or the week following. I have everything painted, just need to put it up. Everyone have a good season
