Birdy Girl, how familiar does this look?
great minds travel in the same circles!
I made 4 of these about 3 years ago and never used them.

I am on dial-up so I only managed to see one pic.
They look very familiar. We have only made one and currently have a SY male staying the night in it and trying to attract a female. One night a female ( I suppose) went into the gourd with him but the next morning she must have left him and moved on northward or she found her another fellow. I doubt he finds a mate this late in the season because I don't seem to be getting any new martins at present.
Is your PVC pipe 6" or 8" wide? We may make a few more for next year but I want to try them early season.
