Strong storms blowing in martins

I arrived home from church today shortly after noon to find a ASY male and female had arrived on the strong southerly winds ahead of the storms that came through this afternoon. About 4 pm (after the weather had settled down) there were 2 ASY males and one female trying to feed flying low over the pond.

There is no damage close around my area but looks like Prattville took a hit about 60 miles to the north and damage reports are just coming in as I type this.

Congratulations on your arrivals. Glad you escaped damage and were able to provide a safe harbor for the martins!

More arrivals yesterday. I had five males and one female stay last night.....db
