I presently have a 10 fote I usea last year with 24 gourds and could have added 8 more, Also have 2 more 7.5 footers that can be used with 16 when I learn to reduce the size of the pic's I will post them or if you don't mind will send them to you by E-mail. John

It is my understanding that the parent birds dip in water weting their feathers and returning to water the nestlings from water stored in the feathers. Just what I have heard.

Putting up the harmone bait trap is not advised as it will draw more and more and you will end up with an outbreak of them you will regret.
the martins like to feed high up in th air and not as low as that.

Felt good to see I was down to only one untaken gourd and then found the two nest with missing eggs, I am sure there will sy's to make it up.

Nest checks last evening revealed a total of 7 dead babys which I contribute to the last two nights of lower 40's and wet.
picked up 3 more nest but had 2 nest that had 5in one and 6 in the other4 days ago and barron last night. Can anyone tell me what happend to the eggs? Thanks, John
