Don, You obviously have the waterproof back with the camera. If you have a droid, or a apple, there is a app you can get and if you get the wyfi option for the camera, you can operate the camera from the phone, and use the phone as a monitor.

I use a pellet gun and for three years have had no problem disturbing martins. Just try not to hit the gourds too much!!

I tried a glue trap once and a martin got caught in it so bad I had to destroy it... never again.

Thank you all for the help to zero in on the company the martins had this morning. Today was a great day for seeing new species... had a Double-crested Cormorant land on the lake... rides really low in the water. What a beautiful sight!
