Freezing Crickets
When do you order your crickets and who from? What size do you order? Do you freeze them as soon as you get them and the best way to unthaw them before putting on the bed and breakfast tray for bad weather. Thanks

Camera
Has anybody used a outdoor camera showing their Martin gourd rack and able to view it on their cell phone. I work 12 hour days and nights and heard it was possible to view your setup using a camera and your cell phone. If so, is there a service for this or just the cost of a outdoor camera? Are the ...

Bird Magnet
I bought a song magnet last fall and I cut a supergourd in half, mounted the bird magnet inside, used lexel to glue it back together, ran the power cord thru elbow vent. I mounted a decoy on perch in front of hole so a purple martin can't get in but it will think a Martin is inside. That will be on ...

Tree Swallow gourds
I have heard both ways, is it best to point tree swallow gourd towards the Purple Martin rack or opposite. I've heard it's best to point towards to protect your rack from other tree swallows and opposite so trees won't see your investigating martins. What do the experts say? Had one pair that raised...

Tri Flow
Has anyone used the Tri Flow teflon spray on their aluminum poles to help when lowering and raising the rack. I read a while back in forum it helped. I was wandering if it left the pole sticky and would cause nats, bugs and dirt to stick to it?

Landlords with predator guards, do you mount your winch below the guard (1 foot off the ground) or above the guard? Pros and cons either way? I have been taking the guard off everytime I lower the rack with the winch below the guard but affraid if above the guard I wont be able to lower the rack low...

Suppose to be hatch day
I have a ASY pair that layed 3 eggs 16 days ago, did a nest check today and found the 3 eggs burried under about 1" of green leaves. No way the female could incubate those eggs. The pair continue to guard the gourd and she stays in gourd like she is incubating. Could something be wrong with tho...
