squirrel climbing pole to attack babies. how do i protect?

First pair arrived 2-16-12.

IT was at the dead end going east on NOrthpoint where it intersects the ditch that runs north and south . they were all on power lines and then moved to trees east of golf course.

Sorry to post so late but had a staging area in Gleanlock farms just off the golf course. they have now joined the main roost in willowbrook so will watch next year when they form. it was agood year at my site with 25 fledges.

2 adult pair here in spring texas. don't normally get PM's until early march but pairs arrived on 22nd. hang in there they will be here soon.

well it's february 22nd and we have our first adult pair in gleanlock farms in Spring texas.

Great pics and yes it is sad. my 32 fledges left about 2 weeks ago and it sure is quiet

pairs started arriving last 2 weeks of march. nest building started by 4/15/2010. first eggs in first week of may.

June 22 here in Spring texas and my 32 new martins are on the wing and just paying daily visits. it was a good season with only 1 loss and 2 abandoned eggs. see you all next season.

Did my nest check today after returning from weekend and have 9 nests (20 available ) with 35 eggs . Going to be a bit crowded again this year with happy martins.

kathyf . did not include the tg8 with 2 nests this year. neighbor has the bug and will be adding a 12 to the neighborhood

Life is good in Spring Texas. 8 nesta and no eggs yet but it won't be long.

same joy here in Spring texas. woke this morning to the spounds of most of my fledges from last year (20+). so all you up north they are on their way. I've had 3 pair for last 2 weeks but their was joy in mudville this morning. happy martin season to all.
