When to open housing at established site ?
I read that you should have housing up but keep holes plugged - is that until martins are actually seen flying around the houses or until they are seen by others in my area on scout report ? Thanks, Karen

cleaning out martin houses
I was wondering if it is really necessary to clean out the housing after the season. A mite can only live a few days without a host and any mite eggs that hatch will die as well. Thanks, Karen

I have martins and a repeating trap for sparrows , but they no longer go to it , don't know why . How on earth do you start a new topic on here ?
