  :P I know for sure they have moved in...The males were constantly bringing nesting material left and right! It was funny a young male brought about a 3" stick and tried and tried to get it in the door but it didn't fit and finally dropped it and, stood there at the door and looked down for such a long time ...finally took off again and brought the perfect one! They are not leaving the house alone for a moment...The males have taken over bringing nesting material for the females ! I don't have a correct number yet because there are so many at once and constantly in and out! Alot of older males though! I know that from pictures and reading. Now that I have the weekend off..I can spend more time with my binoculars and camera to get more info ....I don't think I've had so much fun in my life!!! I just hope I can help them along and do the right thing to bring them and their families back each year! THIS IS GRRRRREAT!!!

Hi,

Congratulations on attracting martins!

If you need any help at all, please ask questions.

Here is some basic info to help those martins breed successfully this season -and- to keep them coming back to you year after year:

Aint it a gas? And well worth the wait wasn't it ? I got neighbors asking me about housing and such. I hope some one else in our neighborhood decides to put up houses also. Congrats again.
