I’m new to the Purple Martin landlord community. I live in Blount County Tn. I have twenty houses ready for occupants. I have been watching the scout reports and haven’t seen any in Maryville yet. Would like to get to know others here in my area if you’re interested.
Hope you have a great season enjoying God’s created things.

If you go to the scout report and look at TN reports for 2024 you can find a report from Maryville. Click on Maryville and you will sell all previous reports from there. Not sure how big it is but you might see someone you recognize.

I’m not in the Maryville area but I do love just north of Knoxville in Heiskell community. If I could help in anyway just let me know. My name and number are on the mentor page of the PMCA site.

God bless and have a great Martin season

MR Cox, appreciate your response. Just now saw it. So far I haven’t seen any Martins. Hoping the sub adults might come my way. Thanks for offering your help. I’m playing the Dawnsong CD quite a bit hoping that will work. I understand it can take a number of years to attract a colony. Hoping I’ll get lucky the first attempt.
Have your birds returned ?

Hey Paul yes my birds have returned they arrive on march 1st. Now there somewhere around 50 to 60 and more arriving everyday. I have not seen any Subadults yet. I hope you have the luck of the Martin and get them your first year but that’s pretty rare. Have you placed pine needles in the gourds and rubbed muddy on the entrance. You can also put small compact mirrors in side a couple cavities so when they look in they see another Martin so they think. If you need a mentor I’m on the mentor page with a contact number. Just give me a call.

God bless
