Hello All
My pole feeder from Toryer came today
Looks like we have some good weather coming next week
Hope to get my pole feeder up

Got the perfect spot picked out
Straight across from my window.
Got crickets and mealworms on order

I'm getting Ancy to see my birds [ Smile ] Later

Great Unk! If the weather gets bad, and they can’t feed, as you know, they’ll be getting hungry by the second day. What worked for me , was putting crickets in their compartments and porches, and the platter. They started by eating those crickets first. After a couple days they made the move to the platter. Hope your martins take to it quickly..

I think I used a 7/32 bit, but anything between 13/64 and 1/4 would do. Don’t want the hole too big, where crickets will fall through.

Unk, if you got the 4 pan set up, it might be a good idea to leave at least one or 2 pans undrilled in case of drought situation, where you would want the crickets to remain in some water, to keep from drying out..
