Closest tree is 55 feet away and it's only 45 feet tall. Every year, same thing. 3 years in a row, males find my setup and try to sell it to females. The females just won't accept. After a few females reject, the male finally moves on. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a hopeless situation? Or am I just not patient enough?

Are they subadult males?

If so they are attracted to unestablished sites, but convincing a female to stay is always a struggle from my experiences. ASY males should be your ticket if you could get them to check it out.
