All are welcome to the Annual Purple Martin Workshop and Seminar Saturday, March 16th, 2024 updated info. The Annual Purple Martin Workshop and Seminar will be Saturday March 16th, 2024 at the CAM Iowa Clothing Center, located at 1005 Nutmeg Ave., 1.8 miles north of Kalona, Iowa and one mile east off Highway 1. The doors will open to vendors and early birds with free coffee and donuts at 8:00 ish AM. Early bird is a great opportunity to mingle and chat prior to the speakers taking the stage around 9:00 AM. This years purple martin speaker is Brian Fitzjarrald. Don Lund will be our speaker for the American Kestrel. Details on our third speaker are yet to be set in stone. Admission fee is only $3.00 for the event. Following the event there will be an auction with lots of birding stuff. Feel free to stick around for the auction if you wish. I wish to thank Evan Gingerich and Jim Walters for their continued efforts over the many years. Let's all make it a big turn out event.
