Hello all,
Here in Michigan it was the coldest and longest winter in 131 years. I was excited to see my first Bluebirds show up and build a nest. It was soon abandoned because the neighbors sparrows were pestering them and the Bluebirds departed. First year in 6 I haven't had a Bluebird pair in one of my houses.
I put my gourd rack up once again in hopes of attracting Purple Martins and for the 5th year, absolutely nothing. I have the sparrow trap up and am going to dispatch every sparrow I catch. I am so tired of them birds destroying my hopes of being a Landlord. I have too much money and time invested to have those little demons destroy it.
I have said a prayer in hopes of this being my first year to have Martins. All I ask is you please say a prayer for me too. Thank you so much, wish me luck. Neal
