Purple martin Gathering Austin Texas

Huge flocks of Martins suppose to begin mid July in Austin. Do any locals have plans to go see them near the ole Highlands mall @ the Wells Fargo Bank?

The Austn Roost is already building.
Someone from the Zilker Purple Martin Sactuary posted a video last week.

Plan to go sometime in the next few weeks.
I'll take photos and video!

If you've never been, it is pretty intense.
One piece of advice: if you plan to get up close, wear a wide brimmed hat!!
