 Oh my.... this is no 'yolk' either, is it, Tony  I thought I'd supply some 'ham' to go with the eggs  (since I laugh at my own jokes)

Congrats on the many many babies on the way, thanks for taking good care of them all. Eggs are starting to pile up here too but not THAT many.

And to think I was thrilled this morning when I did a nest check and found three eggs.

I have one other nest that appears to be completed but no eggs yet and there are seven other cavities that have the makings of a nest but do not seem to change from day to day. The birds may have moved to the East side of the house where it is a tad cooler.

Hi Tony,

You are right. This morning's nest check revealed four eggs plus I found one egg in a cavity that I though might have been abandoned. There is hope after all. A total of five now.

I wish I could convince the birds to move to the Whistle Gourds my wife, daughter, and I managed to get installed yesterday but I know that wont happen. I doubt there will be any occupants in any of them this year but they will be seen and maybe remembered for next season.
