For the fist time in five years I got my ASY male back.Four out the last five years I have one pair and flegded birds and to never return. But this year is going to be different.Last year I taught my birds to feed off the bed & breakfest and it was to fun to watch and can't wait to do it again,I have crikets ready for when I need them.I knew my luck had to turn around sooner or later. Now I just need my female to show up and some subbies.Hopen this finnally the year I can get two or more pair.Wish me luck. Congratulations, Tony! I bet he was happy to see you, too. This has got to be the year your luck turns and you build a strong colony.

Tony has told me that when he was growing up in Lomira the town was full of martins. Anyone in town could erect a martin house in the spring and start a colony immediately. The martins have been gone for many years and Tony has been struggling for more than 5 years to get them reestablished in his hometown.

Good luck this season,
Mary
