Wow!!

Just moved to this area over the winter. Pole and gourds went up yesterday afternoon. Had an ASY visitor within 1/2 hour. Then several others throughout the evening. Got up and started dawnsong this morning and have had visitors all day flitting around the crescent openings, as many as 5 at one time. Two have entered gourds this evening and not re-appeared. I still can't believe it. I have noticed no other housing in the area so who knows. Hope this keeps up! Would be nice to have to order more housing for subbie arrival. I am more than a little apprehensive about the proliferation of HOSP's in the area and had better get on the stick with some sort of program. Would love to shoot them but that is out of the question here. Guess I better get some traps ordered.

Hey Amazed,

I see that you are from Iowa. I am from the Atlantic area. That is good that you have an ASY visitor. They just started arriving a couple weeks ago. What kind of gourds do you have? Glad you have SREH as there is a lot of starlings in this area. Good luck to you this year!

16 Naturelines on a 2 tier rack cranked up a 2" schedule 40 galvanized pipe. I takes the wind very well - at least it has in the past.
