It is really hot here in Oklahoma, about 95, with higher heat index. It is time for me to do some nest replacements, but I am very hesitent to do this in the heat. Could I do it as late as 7?

I use a large black umbrella that just spears in the ground so I can perform maintenance during the middle of day. This way I don't have to wait for the sun to start to go down.

Just the fact you are doing a nest change is good. I rather see you do a nest change at 7 than to not do a nest change at all.
