Hello Tony, :) Thought I would check and see if you are having
any luck yet with starting martins at your place after all the hard
work you have done to get your start, I sure wish you the best.
Also want to wish you good luck chasing those longbeards around
this spring :)

Aaron,
I'm sorry for not answering your post. I was in Miami and couldn't log on to the site for some strange reason.

Nothing to report for ether species. I got in after dark last night and I haven't seen or heard a martin this morning. I haven't got to go turkey hunting yet so, no birds there ether. Half the seasons over and I haven't even been! :???:

Thanks for asking though. I'll try to keep you posted.
Tony

Tony,
Sorry to hear that you still haven't had any luck yet
with starting your martin colony, :-( but don't give up hope
your day will come.
As for myself i have one ASY male back, this makes the third
year for him to be at my place  he goes to the same gourd
every year I'm very thankful for him hope he will find a female
again this year. But it sure is tough for me to build my colony
to more than one pair a year but don't get me wrong, I am
very thinkful to have him. :)
As for turkey hunting, you had better get after them, the season
is way to short. I have been chaseing the longbeards all most
every day of our season so for, I still don't have a thanksgiving
turkey yet :-( :)
Good luck to you with your martin season, and also on chasing
those thundering toms :)

Aaron,
I would be thrilled with one pair!

Looks like I will finally get my chance at the turkeys this weekend. My hunting partner (my ticket to the property  ) called on Monday to set up a hunt this Fri. or Sat.

I ain't giving up, no sir, not me! No way no how!
