this winter I made 2 of the chuck abare type repeating box traps and don't know how I lived without them. catches any starling that stops by and just sets itself again. if you haven't made one yet try it. my bluebirds can get out but starlings are caught. Cost me a whole 20 bucks for hardware and cedar to make 2.

I was thinking of making one of them too! I Have the spare-o-trap's up. They work great for catching sparrows. don't want anything bigger than an 1-3/8'' hole. I have crescents on which work great for starling control. But would be nice to catch them too. They will come around and bother martins.
