To all in Alabama and Georgia
Our prayers are with all of the tornado victims. Several posts have stated the strange weather this spring, this was a huge string of storms from the Gulf coast to the New England states and is not over yet as storms are hitting Ga; Fl; east coast. May God bless all on this forum. I love my birds but the birds are secondary when everything is put in perspective. TerryG

Does anyone have any news about Brad Biddle or other landlords in Dekalb and Marshall County, Alabama? They were right in the middle of the worst of it. Unbelievable!

Brad is okay, I think. I haven't seen news from others but we can all share info as we hear it.

Hello friends,
We live in Marshall county Alabama which has suffered much destruction and devastation. We were so very fortunate to have no damage at all and our families are fine with minimal destruction. Of course, none of this or surrounding counties have power but we are still blessed beyond measure.please keep the people of Alabama in your prayers.

My heart goes out to all that were affected. As Buldog has mentioned The small town of smithville here in MS was all but destroyed. They said that 80 percent of the town is gone.
A friend of mine knows a girl who had an aunt that lived there. The girl was worried about her aunt so her college boyfriend said he would go and see if he could find her. After a short while the boyfriend came back sobbing and told her that he didn't find her aunt, and he couldn't go back. He told her that when he got there it looked like a bomb went off and there were dead bodys hanging in trees.
Our city's rescue team went also, and they said body's were scattered everywhere.
I know this is a grim story, and it may be removed, but everyone needs to know- We just don't realize how fortunate we are!

Yes, Tony a grim story. However, fact is fact. Unfortunately sometime we need a dose of reality. I truly hate that it is at the expense of lost lives. Nothing, nothing, nothing could be worse.
