Martin Colony History: Erected 1st house in 1997. Birds were checking it out before Mike got down from the ladder. Six cavities had a little colony 1st year. Grown to 88 cavities all gourds with near 100% occupancy. Most important factor for success is rain = bugs.

Congratulations, Randy!

Good luck on completion of a successful season and Best Wishes to you for many more in the future.

Sincerely,
Laverne

...now, have you got up your snake guards (and netting) and your owl guards and your SREH or Excluders? Have you got plenty of ammo for your BB or Pellet gun - and a nestbox inset trap to keep the HS out of your housing?

So - many - things to think about...

Don't forget to make sure your ropes are not fraying...

Enjoy!

Laverne

Congrats Randy! The T14 and a couple of gourds are a great combo. Every T14 I know of in central MO and gourd rack have PMs.

Have you had any luck with growing the gourds? Mine are starting to bloom and run like crazy.
