Beautiful Purple Swarm East of Houston today!

I went outside this evening to watch for the usual six ASY martins to do their evening dive into their house -- but when I looked up to watch for them I couldn't believe what I was seeing! There were SO MANY martins circling and swirling very high overhead! There was no way to even attempt to count them. It was thrilling to watch - but they moved on as quickly as they appeared. Wow... Hope your houses are all ready North of Houston 'cause they're certainly on their way!

Here's hoping we ALL have 100% occupancy and a great martin season!
