This what I did for traction getting out. I also added some porches to a few that will be the ones I open first if they like them I can add them to the rest.

I added these porches to these Oblong entrances, First year using the gourds but starlings are getting in. Is it the porches or are the oblong Entrances, maybe both?
I think next season I will add those Tunnels.
I haven't had any problems with martins getting in the S&K Clinger SREH.

The problem is the Obround entrance. (That is the name used for that entrance when it was available) Those were 1st Gen SREH. Those and crescent holes, that's all there was. I don't know which of those two was first to be in use. That entrance is not even remotely Starling resistant. I saw Starlings entering those, at will, nearly 20 years ago.
Martin landlord since 2003. Currently offering 162 plastic gourds with tunnels, all with Conley II entrances with the Lewis modification. I have 24 Supergourds and the rest are Troyer Horizontals.
