The presentation was well done and impressive and certainly in behalf of the purple martins. I bet the martins will be sending you a big thanks from their winter home. Made me more determined to keep trying to provide homes for them as they make their way back to Okla. end of Feb. to middle of March. So you get an A plus, could readily tell the home work had been done in behalf of the beautiful martins that so many of us love.

Larry, you did an amazing job! Didn't look nervous at all. Thank you for traveling all the way on behalf of purple martins and landlords. I have it recorded on my DVR. The HD broadcast made it look really great. - Kent

Larry, the first thing you need to do is take your right hand and sling it over your left shoulder and give yourself a HUGE pat on the back. Your presentation was superb. You looked wonderful, relaxed, and shared a huge amount of information in a very short period of time. You are one of the very best purple martin ambassadors/landlords in this community.

I understand Martha is a novice, but in my estimation, did not think she asked pertinent questions. She certainly spent much too much time cleaning up her PPCA application. I sure hope you had the opportunity to tell her how she could remove the residue from her hands.

It was a joy to watch such a wonderful presentation, and I thank you for all that you do on behalf of *our* martins. You should be very proud.
Ever-Grateful,
Linda

You did a great job on Martha. I missed it in the morning since I had to work but saw the re-run show on USA at 1:00 p.m.

ALRIGHT !!!
Im so glad that you all liked it. There was so much pre-show work that I never realized. It was very confusing, but the producers pretty much had it all worked out. Yes, I had to do my best to hit as many topics as I could. They warned me that Martha may not follow the script and the producers were holding up cue cards that would help me hit topics. Cue cards shaking, "Hurry" " 1 minute!" "30 seconds!"... and it was very hard to try to stay calm, remember my things I wanted to say, answer Martha's other questions.... It was a real experience. I sure hope I got some new landlords for purple martins.
On my way home in SW PA.

We are watching the TV now... My wife is going to be on Extra on NBC tonight. Watch for me and her after Mario Lopez does a short piece "from Las Vegas, now we head to AJ in New York"

They wanted a small crowd in this and rounded up people right off the street. We were one of the firsts. They took about 15 shots before they were happy and my wife is answering the reporter and standing right next to him. I am right beside her, you may see me too.

Ha Ha !! New York was a neat experience!!

Larry, you did a great job! That was a project just to get all the gourds and other items you had on the set there and in place!

I am sure you sparked a lot of interest with people about martins, and made a lot of folks more aware of them and their value.

Take care and thanks for being a super martin ambassador!

Larry,

I just caught the late show at 1 pm. A very impressive, fast-talking presentation. You crammed a lot into a short show. Very good visual aids. You should be a proud ambassador. You're truly a National champion of the purple martin.

Thanks for all you do to spread the word.

Hey Larry,

I just saw your presentation on Martha' show and you did an outstanding job promoting purple martins! We need folks to spread the word about purple martins in a variety of media outlets and TV is one of the best. The videos of the martins inside the gourds should really interest folks who like birds and nature.

Thanks for all you do in helping the purple martin and educating the public.

Friends....
Thanks so much for the kind words. I have not been home long. I have to get ready for work tomorrow....
As soon as we arrived home, I had an appointment with the local newspaper, the Louisville Courier Journal. They interviewed me and took pictures at Bernheim Forest, where I have public martin colonies.
I have a message on the phone to call back a TV station in town... I guess to tell that a louisville guy got to the Martha Stewart show.

They could have picked any one. I was lucky. I did my best and I hope I made you dedicated landlords proud.

THANKS!!

Bravo!!! You did terrific as I've said at the clubhouse. You handled Martha with kit gloves, certainly upstaged her.

Purple Martins has a great voice in you, my friend!
