I have a pair of BB that have 5 eggs in a nest box this is her 3 brood, the
only problem is she has been siting on these eggs since the frist of July so Iam pretty sure that these eggs are no good but yet she sits on them every day most all day long. What to do? Would anyone know what I should do, are should I just wait till she abandons the eggs and then discard them?

I would leave the nest alone and let nature take its course. You may be surprised. Let us know what happens. -- John

I would post this question on the Bluebirding Forum. You will get the answers you need there.
I would also let nature take it's course. It's not totally unlikely that she didn't start brroding the eggs until after they had been laid for some time. If the eggs are indeed infertile, she will give up in time. In the meantime, mother knows best.
One of the broods on my trail hatched does a few days ago. Only two of the four eggs were fertile. This is her third. It is not uncommon for later broods to be smaller. Good Birding!
