I had 6 eggs, 5 hatched and fledged with no problems. After 10 days my martins still come home for the evening. Sometimes they bring friends with them. I have counted as many as 30 flying around and landing on my racks. Even had a pair of asy stop by. I don't know where they are coming from because I can't find another colony anywhere near me. Being my first year, I only had one pair of sy's. It was kind of quiet with only one pair, but since the visitors came it has really been fun. I can't wait till next year. Hopefully I have a lot more.

LUCKY!!!!
My martins only came back one night after fledging on the 26th of July. Even my neighbors colony of about 8 pairs is gone.
