I’m sure everyone on this forum knows of or have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jerral Johnson in Rainsville Alabama. He holds the title of world’s largest Purple Martin Colony. He has well over 2,000 gourds of varying types. I have had the pleasure of meeting him several times over the past ten years as my mother lives in McCalla Alabama. I would try to swing by and see him and his amazing colony every chance I would get on my way down to visit my mother or on the way back. I said all of that to say this please remember him and his wife in your prayers they have been in bad health here lately. Again please remember them they have done so much for the Purple Martin community. If you have never seen this amazing Man or his amazing colony it’s well worth the drive time to see.
