house down question
Wind has knocked one of my houses to the ground. It was before any birds entered but before I could return it they have moved into the other gourds. Another one is crooked. Can I lower the pole and replace the one that dropped without running off the other PM's? Thank you

If you take time one day to drop and repair/replace the poles and housing the martins would more than likely not leave your site. That is assuming you have an established colony and also what phase of nest building they are in. If you had some SY martins visiting and the house was destroyed during a storm, they would be more likely to leave. However ASY martins that have started nesting would probably not leave. A long time member here, Steve Kroenke, had a huge colony and a majority of it was destroyed by a storm several years ago. Once the poles was replaced the martins took right back off again.
Why kind of poles are you currently using that were damaged?
