Ahhhhhh, thanks Tor. Although I get to work around them all day now, travel 2.2 miles during lunch to see my own colony.

The commute is terrible- 3 stopsigns and a school zone. Sigh.

Its great, I love it. Turtles, fish, snakes in the pond, Texas tortuous wandering around, some deer, bobcats. Great!

I think those gourds add more to appeal to them. And gives visitors ideas. All those gourds in those racks are occupied now. 2 years ago we only had one pair.

First light I get to do a check on those predator guards and nets, and of course during the day they are under close watch.

I'd like to add 12 more excluder gourds but our budget is tight. Ill see what I can do.

What a beautiful place to work! All that wildlife around you every day! Way better than therapy! And you are right there to monitor the racks, win win!

I’ve always liked the look of the natural gourds, each one so unique. I’m sure the visitors are intrigued and a great place to get some exposure to the public and potential future landlords.

From one pair to full in two years! Man, it doesn’t get any better than that!

I still have those 24 excluder gourds collecting dust in my garage if you feel like messing with the incorrect size crescent entrances and they want to pay shipping? You can have as many as you want? They have inside/outside porches and the owl guards that go from the gourd to the end of the porch.. You can have the gourd hanging arms for them as well.

I may add one more 18 gourd rack here in the future but I’m going with all Troyer horizontals, the birds here love them.

Of course, no problem at all. It will be nice to see them put to good use and actually have some birds in them.. lol

I measured 6 of them and they were like 1/16 small if I remember correctly… I did follow the instructions and put the porch flush with the bottom of the entrance instead of using the dimples below the entrance. You’re a master at tweaking so I’m sure you know what to do.

Agree! No AirPods for me.. just Martin music all day long! I’m always outside, and love it..but the martins sure make it even better..
