Keynote speaker Myrna Pearman, biologist, author, and nature photographer is coming to us all the way from Alberta, Canada.

There are eight breakout sessions planned on topics as varied as songbird rehabilitation, blue birding 101, blue birding with children, nature journaling, wildlife photography, and an intro to hawk watching among others, with presenters as diverse as VBS’ own Pam and John Narney, and Alonso Abugattas, the Capital Naturalist.

A silent auction is planned. Always wanted a guaranteed-to-attract bluebirds mealworm feeder? Plus 10,000 live mealworms? How about a gift basket filled with books, binocs, and more for the young birder in your life? This, and lots more.

Take a bird walk in Richmond's Bryan Park with VBS volunteer and Virginia Master Naturalist, Buz Sawyer.

There will be time for socializing, for networking, and for learning. It promises to be a fun time with like-minded folks.
