Bluebirds
When we first started seeing the martins arriving we had 4 pairs. We also had 2 male bluebirds. We noticed that the martins were being run away by the bluebirds. Never has this happen to us before. We have always had around 20 martins. As we sat and watched the martins entering the gourd the bluebirds would fly into the martins. We are now down to 5 martins with 2 being females and 3 males.. Has anyone every had this problem? what do we do? we have one bluebird house but is is on the opposite side of the yard. We do not have female bluebirds on male and they are mean. In the past we have always a pair male/female of bluebirds that have been around for ever. Never did they bother the martins. Just dont know how to handle this , Any suggestions??
