- Martin Colony History: - First 24 compartment colony built in 1996 in Awendaw, SC.
- Just replaced a 32 compartment colony built in 2013.
- New 2022 colony has 40 compartments, made entirely of 1/2" PVC-Board.
Subsonic .22 LR or .223/556 ammo when paired with a suppressor is about as loud as a finger snap. I have a swappable .22 LR upper for my AR-15, and a registered 10" suppressor, adding a decent scope makes it a true assassin's weapon, not quite silent, but not as loud as a 1200+ fps pellet gun.

Gents,
I stretch the limits with 33 cavities I think....so as to not break the limits.low key and accurate pellets. iv heard one neighbor shooting at Grackles....I won't say he is a police officer because thats against the rules and I hold law enforcement in very high esteem.
I'll go with the gammo whisper, I really like the red fire pellet accuracy too. Perhaps ill try a heavy wad cutter just to see; its used in match shooting. Just have to thump a sparrow once, the red fire isn't going to have a problem getting past a starlings iron wings either.
I do appriciate all the expertise, and your inputs just goes to show martin landlords are tight knit.

Good choice Tom, I shot mine today and was listening to the sound as I shot… definitely relatively quiet as pellet rifles go. I really like my gamo whisper, with the red fire pellets and scope.
