Fed and fed the martins last year. 3/4 of the season really. They (and i) started to look forward to it, lots of crickets and June bugs.

Will they remember? Ill do my best again, but wondered....Brent, you just tried flipping no takers.....has me wondering.....

Yep, flipped this morning but nothing. Will try again though. Just put warmers in the compartments that looked like they stayed in last night. Going to be cold (by SE Louisiana standards) tonight. Warmer tomorrow. Good luck. Brent

Give them some time and they will remember . They may be finding enough food for themselves, or just not hungry enough. Even a well trained colony will not always take supplement food . I have made scrambled egg so many times thinking they will eat only to have no takers.

One day they are so happy to see me with eggs and the next day they could care less. :???:

I sure hope so, it was a big breakthrough for the birds. They seem to come at the worst times....all the feeding was done with that intent, ok I admit it was quite rewarding for me too.
