Great article John! You've been doing a lot a great work for years on behalf of Missouri Martins!
I got a chuckle when I read this quote from the article:
Miller, who had learned about the birds while growing up in Kentucky, chirped pretty much incessantly until Forest Park gave him permission to place a house in Steinberg Meadow.....

Very good read with a lot of interesting history. I hope you continue to promote the Purple Martin and there is not a better way than getting them in the public eye. I know you have helped a lot of people on this forum as well. Thanks
