troyer starling V trap
Hello I built a troyer starling V trap and have had starlings get trapped in this trap but they been escaping through the 2 inch slot that is hanging down at the entrance of the trap . Did i not make this right . anyone know what is possibly is going on that the starlings are escaping . thanks any comments would be helpful thanks.

I heard someone once mention the same issue. I want to say they made the 2 inch opening go down further into the trap. I can't remember if they used hardware cloth or what but they added a few inches to the bottom of the slot. Might be worth a try.
