Just go home , looked out the back yard , and sitting on a Martin house is a female Martin ! She flew around for a little while , then went inside one of the houses . I have a lot of gourds , but she chose a house. It's 47 right now so I'm sure there are no bugs . I'll keep an eye on her. I'ts always exiting to get your first Martin of the year .

Good news. I hope she stays well.

I had ice hanging off my gourds this morning but all is good this afternoon.

Still watching and waiting here in Plano.

Thanks for the report.

Glad you have your 1st Martin of the season. I am about 70 miles east of you & still waiting.

Looks like the weather forecast is going to improve over the next 10 days with temps. Into the 60's.

Hope you have a Good Year.
