I was wondering if my luck has run out, had 2 females and 1 male checking out my house and would visit a couple times a day. I was fixing to put up a 4 gourd pole to offer a different type of housing, but I haven't seen them in a couple days now. Not sure if they have moved on. Anyone have any input as to putting up more housing or not. Living in the Houston Tx area I am not really sure on the migration schedule

Martin Colony History: First started in Gretna, La in 1969 with a small homemade house, have had martins ever since at 2 different homes in Texas

New martins are still arriving daily, so you have a chance to get some. No suggestions yet, but if you get martins, there are several things to do to keep them happy.

Well my 3 showed up this morning for about 30 minutes. I had a 12 room house and was reading that they like larger rooms so I made it into a 4 room house with rooms 6"x12" they were really exploring all 4 new rooms and put 4 plugs in the back side of the house, sure hope this helps them decide to nest with me.
