We're on the map! A tad early, but not really - we have had other January arrivals, last year it was later, mid February.

I haven't raised any of my houses/gourd racks but everything is ready to go. I will probably start raising systems in the next few days.

- Martin Colony History: 85 pair in 2020. Seems fairly consistent the last few years.
Great news Louise. The first one is always special. Always when my first arrival shows up and I retire for the night, I can't wait to see if he or she is still there the next morning. That must be a sign I'm too addicted to this hobby. Good luck.

Hi Louise ,great news you have got your martins back already seems a long way of before we see some birds up north here.lol don't think I can cope,was out doin yard work today and found myself looking up,why you ask "I know right,no chance of seeing any for at least 6 weeks lol
Hi kehunter just read your post ,i thought there was a scout report in sugar land already,if so your just east of there right,and was surprised you will not be seeing martins in the next week are your birds normally that late was just curious
