Any other Scout sightings in Louisiana?

Any other sightings in Louisiana yet? I see Barbara McCormick in St. Amant (that's close to me!!) reported a sighting on January 12th, but I haven't seen any other reported sightings in the Scout report for Louisiana. I'm wondering if others have seen them, but just not posted in the Scout report.
I have my house ready, but don't want to put it out too soon.

I'm a little North of St.Amant. I haven't seen anything yet. My sister lives in St.Amant too. She just put her gourds back up yesterday. We are excitedly awaiting our martins!

I haven't seen any yet either.
Mine usually arrive from across the lake in mid February and cruse in about 9AM on the dot each morning thereafter until they are ready to move in.

As usual, im fighting the urge to put my house and gourds up now!. The coming weeks weather is forecasted to be wonderful....but more cold fronts behind it. Mine are due around the 21st-ish of Feb. I was eyes to the skies today, knowing it's still early, but still looking!! The sparrows and starlings are the reason for the delay, but a recently added scoped pellet rifle zeroed in deadly at 30 yards is a nice assistant this year!!!!

I put the house up at 11:00am Sunday morning, and left to go do some errands. I returned home around 5:00 pm and had a PM sitting on the front porch of the PM house. He looked tired, but went into one of the nests about 5 minutes later, and spent the night.
Did not see him this morning.

I am in Denham Springs La. Every one around here open their houses on Feb 10th, so that is my date. I have everything ready to go, hope my pair from last year make it back and bring lots of friends

I use to think I would wait until I saw the first PM before putting my house up, but I started thinking that with the cold weather, they might need some shelter. The one I saw looked awfully frazzled from his long journey, and his exhaustion was obvious. I think everyone in the area should put up at least a house or two (if not their whole colony) to give the PM a place to rest and "shelter from the elements". Even if they are just passing through, I am sure they would welcome the dry place to spend the night.
I keep wondering where the PM I had last year (or where they stay), if I didn't put my house up before they got here. Do they just hang out somewhere, or do they stay in other housing that another landlord already put up?

I see my resident hawk has now arrived, so the Martins can't be far behind.
