WOW,
getting a little nervous as no Martin's until today. Now more than a few as the weather is getting colder/ rainy/possible snow. I guess there is no perfect time. I have put in 18 hr hand warmers and put out crickets and eggs . It's good to have a pair back but the next few days are gonna be troublesome.

Robbo, No wonder your martins are back! They know they are in good hands.
White Crown and Lincoln's sparrows are still here, however. Maybe they aren't convinced to go polar yet. 8) Congrats and good luck!

HI Robbo,

How do you use the hand warmers? Are they set up in the nest boxes or to keep the food warm?

Hi Jeff,
Underneath the nesting material I provide for them, sorry it took so long to get back busy at work. the weather has broke and the Martin's are pouring in today or they survived inside the T-14's.
Good luck.
