Hi Cransy
I have two females with the red and silver bands and one Sy male
that just came in the colony passing threw the area with the same red and silver bands. I have another female with yellow and silver bands also.
I think the red and silver are from CT also. I could have trapped one of the females with the conley trap but i did not have it in me to trap any martin.
If i still have them next year i will try and trap to read the bands.
There was a women from NY she also had a red and silver banded martin
she posted here. The weather has never been so great here in Southern New England I have never seen so many martins. ANd still many more units will be put in place for 2014 from kind folks. RI must have over 300 nesting Martins this season we broke records thats for sure.
Have a good one.

Thanks. The martin is nesting here with babies. It was born in Kent CT in litchfield county about 257 miles from me. I have a spotting scope which works good for reading bands.
