I have read your posts. It is legal to shoot pellet guns in Houston.
Been doing it for 30 years.

Thanks Airborne. I have wondered if pellet guns were legal to shoot in the city and that is good to know. Two of the main reasons why I have not wanted to shoot was the perception my neighbors would have seeing me shoot birds around my birdhouse and I did not want to hit the T-14 with the pellets. These concerns don't carry so much weight anymore considering the events surrounding the ten day Starling onslaught I just went through. If the excluder II plates don't keep the Starling breeches down to a reasonable level I am prepared to shoot as my next step.

It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot or attempt to shoot or kill with any air rifle, bow and arrow, slingshot or firearm or other means, or to ensnare or catch by any means whatsoever any wild birds, old or young, within the limits of the city.
