Iam on a Family vacation in orlando we plan to go to disney thursday or friday. who Knows where th martins are. My young kids are not going to let me wander around all day looking for martin houses. They think we are going their for the rides. Dad needs a martin fix. I have a while to wait in MN for the return of my martins.

Martin Colony History: Start 2009 with one pair. Upgraded from S&K houses to two Trendsetter 12's with gourds beneath in 2013. I have experienced job, pet, and parental losses since '13. The Purple Martins lift my spirits and remind me how life continues forward by flying their little selves from Brazil back to my yard. As one forum person once told me, chin up DebA, look at the martins. Danger all around but yet they soar in the sky without a care in the world.

That's great! A perfect trip for everyone! Good thinking, Dad.

At Epcot, there is a cluster of martin housing very close to the butterfly house. At Disney Animal Kingdom, most or all of the martin housing is behind the scenes, not out in public areas. There is martin housing at many of the Disney golf courses, too.

Update 14(4) had an article by James Mejeur, the DAK staffer who is responsible for all the martins at Disney and Epcot - nice work by James and volunteers who manage the housing!

Here is the location of the ones I'm aware of at Epcot (there may be more?)
Hopefully this map comes up okay. (The housing location marked with the orange dot)
Click here for location of Disney Epcot Martin Houses

Here it is with a closer, Martin's-eye view

If you looks close, you can see the two, large gourd racks, and a Lonestar Goliad house.

I'll second that Louise!
Disney World is already so much fun, and to add Martins to that - awesome!

No problem Chadd!
I'm glad the links worked.
That will be the icing on the cake to get to see Martins and Martin housing, while enjoying Disney World. 8)
