Good luck with your program! Your area should have a good martin population, so hopefully you will get a good turn out of existing landlords and those who want to get started.

Well I know of at least a few who had been trying that now know likely reasons they were not getting them. mainly the sparrows and timing issue.

I have been asked to speak over at the Pittsburg adubon meeting, likely next season. So we will continue to spread the word.

Dorn, if you get just a few prospects at each program who will put into use the information you share, you are making a BIG difference, it will grow. Congrats on your good efforts all around.

Thanks LC.. you can let everyone there know that we have handed out about 30 of the booklets so far. All to people that were genuinely interested in hosting martins or allready attempting to. The next couple weeks we will be making a push to do as much work on the houses in town as we can, prior to martin arrival. We've raised $2000 so far and hope to raise that much again by the end of this season. We also have a few grant proposals out that we hope can double this amount. The community support so far as been outstanding. Maybe we are a "Martin Capital"?
